Books and the online read-along Trail Adventure are primarily suitable for 3-8 year old range.

Online Ranger Station workbook guidance is primarily geared toward K-3. Workbook completion requires some early reading and writing skills; however there is flexibility in workbook completion as described in videos. It should also be noted that the workbook has fun, simple activities appropriate for younger students as well (e.g. coloring pages, mazes, step by step drawing).

However, we have a new suggested 7-week summer plan outline if you want to embrace the Runner Rabbit summer challenge. In just 30 minutes or less per day with guided online teaching, your student can learn at least 89 vocabulary words, 7 character-building traits, and hours of fun in this reading and writing adventure.

If you’d prefer to dive deeper into the national parks and access the online teaching at a slower pace, this program can also be utilized as a semester or yearly course. The beauty of this program is that it can be done on your schedule, your way!

Most parents and educators agree that free time spent on short reels is wasted time. We may not always be able to pack our bags and travel to national parks but spending quality time together reading about the adventure and having fun is the next best thing!

1. Purchase the 7 books individually or the All 7 on Amazon and just enjoy reading the adventure together! You can also purchase the individual companion workbooks for each park or in the All 7 format.

2. Purchase the online Trail Adventure which comes with 2 coloring pages for each park. This Trail Adventure reads the books to the student with highlighted words, animates visual vocabulary, and animates each book illustration. Mom can get a minute to relax while kids listen to the adventure and color!

3. Purchase the online Ranger Station and the 7 companion workbooks (or All 7). The Ranger Station gives keys to learning with specific academic help on reading, writing, proofreading, and comprehension strategies. The Ranger Station also reads through the books online, pausing at certain intervals to find key story components, draw the scene, and write the summary. We also have fun completing the workbook together with activities, mazes, coloring pages, and puzzles! If purchasing this Ranger Station and workbooks, purchasing the texts with stories is considered optional. Even though the stories are provided digitally through the Ranger Station, some prefer to also have the written text for casual reading or reference when answering workbook questions.
